My Love Poem

I write to my love; keeper of my heart
Ink; blood from my heart
For it is a heartfelt plea
Pen; a feather from my mockingbird
A gift from thee
That mocks me still
I write of the way I crave for you
The way my heart skips a bit
Every time I think I saw you
What breaks my heart is knowing
You cry too
Hoping against hope to see me too
So to breach this distance between us two
I send this love poem to you
But it seems fate never ment it to reach you
And for this my heart breaks in two
For my love I acknowledge I do
You can’t read or write my fool
And even if you could
I couldn’t though I have tried to

There’S Only One Of You

I know I only met you today but
You do make me wonder
You tantalize my mind and make me ponder
On that naughty sun ray
That peeped through on a gray day
That last drop of water on a desert dry day
Refreshing really,a true mirage
The last of a dying breed
The exotic romantics
The type that’s not too shy to shed a tear
All I can say
Its quite clear
It was a pleasure knowing you
And its a pity there’s only one of you
Because this original you I fear
